I let the tires on our truck get in embarrassingly bad shape because I wanted to get new tires as close to our departure date as possible. Then when a bushing on one of our shocks blew and was rattling around like crazy, I knew it was time to take it in and give it some love. I don't really know anything about tires or shocks, so I went to a local tire shop, Fisher Tire, I knew I could trust and told them what we were doing. They recommended the BF Goodrich T/a KO2 as an all around good off/on road tire. And they recommended KYB shocks. We did the Excel-G on the front and the Monomax on the back since we'll have the extra weight of the camper.
